Rio Traders as a website sells access to market signals for those interested in trading signals. As such, Rio Traders trades on information, but not that of our users. We take privacy seriously, and as such we have laid out the following policy.
We are a commercial company, and as such we operate as a for-profit business. To do so we take payments via either consumer credit card or via crypto or e-wallets. Either way, we do store customer data on our local, secure database. This information is for the purposes of maintaining subscription roles and fulfilling customer requests only. All of our customers’ data is stored on secure servers behind state of the art firewalls. These servers are not shared with any other companies other than those associated with Rio Traders.
This data includes personally identifiable tokens, usernames, and billing info, including credit card data. This data, however, is stored in an encrypted format should be considered secure, or “hack proof”.
Customer data is stored only so long as a customer is a paid member of the Rio Traders service. Should a user cancel their account, we will retain their customer data on the chance that they return as a paying subscriber. Any user who requires such service can email contact@riotraders.com and make such a request. It may take up to 48 hours for the Rio Traders team to process and respond to such requests, and our security teams may ask for proof of identity. This is for your protection as well as ours. Besides user data, our servers may collect and store behavioral data about our users. This includes using “cookies” to track activity, IP addresses, and other associated data, such as page loading times and the amount of time spent on a given page. These are used exclusively by our quality control and development staff to make Rio Traders easier to use and a more attractive choice to our customers.
When a user uses our website all of the above information is collected, stored, and sometimes processed as part of our services’ general procedure. Your information will only be used for the above-noted reasons. Rio Traders will never share, sell, lease, or otherwise distribute your personal information, including names and email
addresses, to any other third parties under any circumstances, except where required by law.
As well as the above-mentioned reasons, there are a number of additional reasons why we might collect personally identifiable information. These include, but are not limited to:
- Providing personal customer service
- Billing and other accounting purposes
- To contact users in case of service issues
- To supply law enforcement personnel with information as required by law
- For personalized special offers or other promotions
From time to time, Rio Traders may contact a user regarding their account. This may be to troubleshoot membership errors, resolve disputes, resolve billing issues, supply marketing offers, deliver company news, request opinions on services and products offered, or other related reasons. In general, this contact will take place via the email that a member has on file within their account, though more urgent communications may be via Telegram, telephone, or text message. Any user may opt out of Rio Traders marketing communications at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link on the bottom of its marketing emails, however Rio Traders may retain a user’s contact information for non-marketing or business-related reasons.
As noted above, Rio Traders is dedicated to ensuring user privacy through both our policies and actions. This address is staffed by senior members of the company and each email is handled separately.
Rio Traders finds this policy to be complete and accurate, however it may be amended from time to time as more services are offered or services are replaced or dropped. Rio Traders may not always notify users of these updates, so members are encouraged to check this page from time to time to make sure that they stay up-to-date with our policies. Use of Rio Traders services, including this website and its telegram signals and training, is contingent on accepting these policies.
